About our Instructor

OUR MASTER INSTRUCTOR : Mr. Zhuta (center of photo) is a former military and private
security specialist. He has been assigned to protection of hospitals,
corporate offices, executives and employees.
Mr. Zhuta is among the highest ranked Black Belts in Connecticut.
In 1980 he founded Universal Martial Arts and since then
has promoted over 100 students to the rank of Black Belt.

Zhuta's Universal Martial Arts School was establish in 1980 by Owner and Head Instructor Mr. Zhuta. It is the only location in the Waterbury area that is a member of the United Fighting Arts Federation Founded by Chuck Norris.
All of our instructors are trained to help you clear your mind and build self confidence, self esteem as well as respect for yourself and others.
We offer several different types of classes such as Kids classes, Adult classes, and Kickboxing classes for all ages from age 6 to 60. No matter what your background might be, if you are interested in learning self defense or just looking for some aerobic exercise please call or stop by our school.
